 COLCCO S.A. is a fully owned subsidiary of ZEUZCORP.(USA). 

 COLCCO S.A.  is the owner of mining title/contract FLL 082 granted in 2006 by the Colombian Mining Agency. 

COLCCO is working closely with the community of El Carmen de Chucuri/Santander/Colombia and under the mantle of this relationship, COLCCO has established the proper structure to share with the citizens of El Carmen de Chucuri the benefits of sustainable mining with the community. 

The COLCCO Foundation, will be the beacon for supporting social programs, work qualification programs, community support programs and all aspects of the benefits generated by COLCCO

The  ELENOA  Coal Mine is located in the  Rancho Grande vicinity approximately 8 kilometers from El Carmen de Chucuri.

In support of the economic development of El Carmen de Chucuri, after initiation of commercial operations, COLCCO has contemplated supporting the following : 

1.A cooperative association for the processing of Cocoa 

2.the caretaking and maintenance of the 13.5 kilometer Yarima-El Carmen Road 

3. The Local Fire Department 

4.The Local Community Public Bathrooms, 5. The Local Church and Religious Activities 

6. Local Social, Sporting and Community Events.  

This committed support will be the spring board for the continued social and economic development for the citizens of El Carmen de Chucuri, ensuring the the possibility of improved income, generation work opportunities and consolidation of financial, economic and social stability in the Community .

Established by executives from the mining and energy sector with proven experience in these field (Exxon, Intercor, Occidental, Willbros) with a mining operations that and respects and observes  100% of the legal, environmental, commercial and financial regulations of the Republic of Colombia, COLCCO, at the the ELENOA mine, will have a annual expected  production volume of approximately 360,000 tons per year of coal.

With this production of the ELENOA mine, Colcco, under its commitment to the community and under the Colcco Foundation, will contribute to the community of Carmen de Chucuri, financial resources designated to support the the basic needs in the education sector sports, environmental health, fire brigade and social stability in Carmen de Chucuri.

Of the total of 1,950 hectares, only 150 hectares were approved for mining operation, and of these only 15 hectares will be used in the pit of the mine. 

ENVIRONMENT:

Responsible mining with economic and social benefit exists and it can be done.

COLCCO S.A. in compliance with its FLL 082 contract granted by the National Mining Agency (Contract with the state and IRREVOCABLE) for 14 continuous years has complied with all the requirements required by the state

In  August 2022, achieved after much effort, that the CAS granted the respective Environmental License. 

Under strict compliance with the conditions of the environmental license, COLCCO will be the bastion that Carmen de Chucuri has lacked, so that the mining riches of the Colombian state on the soil of Carmen de Chucuri, become real wealth and all the residents of Carmen de Chucuri benefit.

 
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

In its commitment to the community of Carmen de Chucuri, our TRANSPARENCY PACT, COLCCO has suggested that the community of Carmen de Chucuri designate one social leaders chosen by the community, to be ad hoc members of our Board of Directors. 

This will give direct, transparent and clear access to all our activities, allowing an open and constant dialogue with the community of Carmen de Chucurí.
